Life is full of opportunities for personal growth, development and transformation. Most often the opportunity for growth is enhanced when you find others who are willing to engage the process with you.  It doesn’t matter where we are when we begin the journey just that we begin.
 
There is a developing interest here at St. John’s to focus on ways to become more like Christ. The women’s ministry initiated a program to encourage mentoring relationships among women.  This partnership has encouraged more conversation about living the life of faith.
  
During 2012 I have spent a great deal of time searching for men who would like to deepen their faith in Christ through fellowship with other men.  This idea has been well received by many different congregations in this community. After two organizational meetings attended by  20 to 35 men, we will launch this new men’s ministry on each Saturday morning beginning on Saturday January 5^th 2013 from 8 – 9:30 a.m.
