COMPUTER HINTS

Below are a number of helpful websites for those of you who are new to computers and those of you who are looking for specific information.

To look up bible verses you can go to http://www.biblegateway.com/ .  You can then choose the bible version you want and the verse you want to look up

If you are new to computing, check out http://www.Refdesk.com  You could spend a whole day here just looking at all the information that is available.   Some of the information you can find are--Medical and Legal dictionaries, translation dictionaries, ideas on how to clean just about anything, Airline Flight Tracker so you can see just where friends and family are when they are in the air, medical information.

Do your kids need help with their homework?  At Refdesk you can go down to Reference Resources and select Homework Helper.  Older students can prepare for SAT and ACT test with the Word-of-the-Day, the SAT practice question, analogy, and other sites in this section.  For the brainy teenager try http://www.brainevent.com

Looking for activities for younger kids--try or http://www.abcteach.com .  Do you have health questions about your kids try http://www.kidshealth.org

Now how about things for you--do you want to find ideas on a quick meal fix--try http://www.souprecipe.com .

Nee information on medicare--go to http://www.medicare.gov .  If you are looking for information on Chemotherapy, try http://www.chemotherapy.com .  Also http://www.medlineplus.gov is a good site for all sorts of medical information on health topics and related things.
